Nepallauf

Event platform for sponsored school charity runs: registration, organizer tooling, live dashboards and computer-vision lap counting. In use since 2019; more than €100,000 raised for schools in Nepal.

02Organizer & IT lead

WFO Young Researchers Competition

International competition of the World Foundry Organization for early-career researchers in foundry technology. I co-organize the event and run the IT behind it, from the website and jury review portal to the online conference.

Scratch Detection with Synthetic Training Data

Bachelor thesis at RWTH Aachen University on machine vision for detecting fine scratches on metal surfaces, with very little real training data available. I optimized the lighting setup, generated synthetic training data in Blender and with a custom 2D generator, and benchmarked the resulting detectors against an analytical algorithm. The work fed into a paper I co-authored, now under review.
